Leopard print became super popular and classy in the 1950’s. From Jayne Mansfield to Bettie Page, everyone loved leopard. This vintage animal print has become such a staple for rockabilly and pinups today. Tops, skirts, or pants! It is super versatile that looks great on any garment.
You will not be disappointed with this print! It’s a gorgeous, rich, dark leopard with perfectly sized spots. It may be a print, but leopard is totally a neutral colour and can be worn with any colour of accessories. Stick with red and black for a classic rockabilly look or you can opt for a rainbow of bangles and hair flowers for your next tiki luwow.
At first glance the Lola top and Bettie skirt worn together could be mistaken for a dress, but I’m totally cool with that. These two styles are easily my favourite separates from LDV and I already own them in various colours and patterns.
The Lola Peasant Top is always super cute. It can be worn on or off the shoulder depending on how sassy you’re feeling. It has an elasticated bust to accommodate for all chest sizes as well as a fully shirred back which makes it very comfortable. Tuck it into skirts or wear it over the top of pants.
The Bettie is a classic full skirt with gathering at waistband which means you can wear it with or without a petticoat and you’ll still have a great silhouette. It fastens at the back with a zip and of course features super deep pockets perfect for today’s large smartphones.
These separates will look super fabulous on everyone day or night. Don’t forget to check out the matching pants too!
