Returns and Exchanges
Need to return or exchange something you just received? No problem honey! Simply read through the terms & conditions below, and of course contact me via email at email@example.com if you have any questions that aren’t answered below. While I do everything in my power to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase, please keep in mind that Louella DeVille Boutique is a small business, run by only 1 person and may not have the same return and exchanges policies that you'll find at bigger branded chain stores. I also comply to all current Australian Consumer Laws.
Please choose carefully when ordering on louelladeville.com.au (yosps.com.au). Once you have ordered the item, you are committed to the purchase. I am not obligated to offer a return or exchange if you simply change your mind or you later discover that you picked the wrong colour or the item doesn't fit. Please also note loose buttons or uncut threads do not classify an item as faulty.
Return & Exchange Policies
Timeline for returns & exchanges:
- You must notify me via email firstname.lastname@example.org within 4 days of receiving your order to arrange your return/exchange.
- Please allow me a couple of days to reply to you.
- You may be eligible for a return/exchange only if the product arrives back to me within 14 days from the day the order was delivered. If I receive the product back after 14 days (15+ days) of the day the order was originally received, you will not be eligible for any store credit, returns or exchanges. If the return arrives after 15 days of the day the order was originally received, it will be refused and returned to you at your cost.
- Items sent back without confirmation will be refused and returned at your cost.
What can't be returned or exchanged:
- Items considered as "FINAL SALE" or “LAST OF” or "DISCONTINUED" cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Petticoats, Swimwear, Lingerie, Shapewear, Cosmetics, Toiletries, Shoes, Jewellery, Accessories, and Homewares cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Any worn, soiled, altered, washed, or customer-damaged items cannot be returned and will be shipped back to you at your cost.
I reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange at any time, under the Australian Consumer Law.
What can be returned or exchanged:
- Any items not outlined in the "What can't be returned" section above are eligible for return or exchange if returned within the conditions outlined above.
- Items purchased at full price
- Full price items purchased during a promotional sale, but not SALE ON SALE items. (items already on SALE, which become reduced further due to a promotion or discount code)
- Garments must have all tags attached, and must be sent back in all original packaging in new and unworn and unwashed condition.
Return & exchange shipping charges information:
- Shipping cost is non-refundable, unless I ship an item in error and you need to return it.
- Returns and exchanges will require the customer to pay for all return shipping, both ways.
- Returns or exchanges on orders that utilize free shipping will be subject to a reduction in store credit in the amount of $10 regular or $16 express, whichever method was used at time of posting.
Please follow the steps below for an easy return! Please note, items purchased at LOUELLADEVILLE.COM.AU can only be returned or exchanged via post. Online purchases may not be returned or exchanged at any events I may trade at or in person.
- Contact me via email email@example.com to let me know you'd like to return or exchange. Please ensure to state your order number, name, and contact details. Also please let me know the reason for your return or if you’d prefer to exchange for another size. Returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee so please check the terms. I cannot accept returns or exchanges on final sale, sale on sale or discontinued products.
- All returns takes upto 7 business days after I have collected them from my PO BOX. Upon receiving your return back, your items will be inspected, and you will be emailed a store credit coupon, for the amount of your original purchase price, minus any restocking or postage fees where applicable. Please note this credit coupon is valid for 30 days only, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupons, offers, or deals. Postage costs cannot included in your store credit.
These terms and conditions are in addition to your legal statuatory rights as a consumer from the Department of Fair Trading.
